About Dr Jane Ditty

Hey, I’m Dr Jane Ditty (Acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine). With 15+ yrs experience, I’m known for being compassionate, open minded and thorough, and I strive to create a safe and calming space where you can feel truly heard and supported.

Starting my career in London at a renowned fertility-focused clinic on Harley Street. After moving to Melbourne, I continued to deepen my practice at another fertility focused clinic, working along-side a team of natural fertility practitioners.

Today I run my own clinic, Embody Balance, located at 171 Sydney Road, Brunswick. My focus and passion is on woman’s health, fertility, IVF support, emotional well-being and general health. I feel incredibly fortunate to do the work I love, supporting women through different stages of life with a natural approach and whole-body approach.

Discovering Chinese Medicine felt like finding the missing piece I’d been searching for. A complete healing system that truly made sense to me. To me Acupuncture taps into the bodies innate ability to heal by gently nudging it back into balance. Figuring out what direction that nudging needs to go in is what I’m most enthusiastic about.

Outside of clinic, I put the same care and energy into living a healthy, mindful life. I love getting creative with crafts, home cooking and fermenting, spending time in nature, being silly with my son, staying active and connecting with the people I love. It’s all part of my mission to live a full, happy, and well balanced life and to support others in doing the same.

To start with I wish to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation who are the traditional owners of the land on which this clinic stands. I wish to extend my respect to their elders past, present and emerging.

In practice I use a blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Japanese Acupuncture which both have a unique way of exploring the human body as a whole. By using my experience and the fast knowledge I have accumulated I will explore your reason for coming while unraveling any underlying patterns and put together an individual treatment plan that best suits you.

I aim to not only address your initial issue but also set you up for optimal health and well-being.
